Stealth Affiliate Index Review 2026: the DM conversation timeline, a full campaign build and three real case studies.

Sarah Staar – Stealth Affiliate Index Review

Sarah Staar · Stealth Affiliate Index Review 2026This Stealth Affiliate Index Review looks past the sales pitch and into the lessons themselves: how Sarah Staar’s Instagram DM funnel behaves minute by minute, the solar campaign she builds on screen, three campaigns from her own business, a runtime chart of the whole package and a self-test. Every fact below comes from the course files. Brought to you by Courses On Budget.

The Big Idea: Let the Buyer Choose the Offer

The core idea of Stealth Affiliate is simple: don’t pick the affiliate offer for your lead — let them pick it inside the chat. Everything else in the course, from the Facebook page to the ad settings, exists to get a stranger into a conversation where that choice can happen.

The workflow overview makes the point with a decision most marketers get wrong. Someone downloads a free solar guide. The obvious move is to reply with a solar affiliate link. Sarah Staar says that converts poorly, because the lead now feels their solar question is already answered. So her chat asks a different question — what else are you into? — and offers three options drawn from the same buyer’s interests: workshop plans, building an online income, and prepping.

“They’re much more likely to go ahead and actually click on an affiliate link because they have elected it.” — Part 1, ManyChat Instagram Automation Workflow Overview

That single choice explains why the funnel lives in direct messages. A squeeze page can’t ask a question and wait for the answer; a chat can. Because the lead tapped their own interest, the link that follows isn’t a pitch — it’s a reply. The same logic carries into email: each lead gets a tag, so a future solar offer goes only to the people who have “already raised their hand”.

Editor’s comment: The “let them choose” step is the most transferable lesson in this Stealth Affiliate Index Review. Even if you never open ManyChat, a welcome email with three interest links plus tags in your autoresponder does a similar job.

The Stealth Affiliate Conversation, Minute by Minute

A lead moves through seven moments, and the course is exact about the timing of each one. Here is the flow Sarah Staar builds in ManyChat and Kit, laid out as a timeline:

0:00
Ad click. The Instagram ad’s call to action opens a DM: tap the button below or reply “PDF” for the free guide.
↓
Reply
Permission. The lead’s quick reply counts as messaging you, which opens a 24-hour window; every new reply opens it again.
↓
Ask
Email field. “Which email address should I send the guide over to?” ManyChat checks the address is properly formatted.
↓
+15 min
Silent lead? A reminder asks whether they still want the PDF — and repeats the email question.
↓
Email in
Chat offer. “Your pack is on its way… what else are you into?” Three options, each opening a cloaked affiliate link.
↓
+5 min
Kit takes over. The hidden form adds the lead, waits five minutes, sends the PDF email and adds an interest tag.
↓
Later
The list. Tagged follow-ups by email, with no 24-hour limit, until the subscriber opts out.

Why a Quick Reply Instead of a Button

In the build lesson, Sarah Staar explains that a normal button “won’t actually work with an Instagram ad”. The first message uses a quick reply instead: one tap sends “free PDF” back as the lead’s own message, and that message is what keeps the flow inside Meta’s rules. A short correction video follows, because the first version of the 15-minute reminder forgot to re-ask for the email — a good argument for testing every branch in ManyChat’s mobile preview before going live. She calls herself “quite an aggressive marketer” for the 15-minute timer; an hour or two works too.

Why the PDF Waits Five Minutes

The delay borrows from classic squeeze pages. When a thank-you page shows a one-time offer, she says you’d send the opt-in email about ten minutes later so people read the offer first. In Stealth Affiliate, the chat is the offer page, so Kit waits five minutes while the lead explores the three options. The Kit automation is triggered by one specific form, so leads from other niches never land in it, and when it finishes it can start another automation — for example a 10-day welcome sequence.

Worked Example: The “Can I Build It” Solar Campaign

Part 1 builds one campaign from blank accounts to a submitted ad, aimed at a ClickBank woodworking buyer in his 50s. Here is every decision as Sarah Staar makes it, including the small ones that are easy to skip:

Decision What she does on screen
Ad persona A Facebook page called “Can I Build It” — broad enough for solar, woodworking and side-income offers. The username was taken, so a number goes on the end; “101” or “247” works.
Page assets An AI profile image of a man in a wood workshop (she’d make him about ten years older to match the buyer), an AI header and one or two AI infographic posts. No daily posting.
PDF title Three seed titles → AI writes 10 more → “make it more DIY-centric” → number 10 wins: “DIY Solar Starter Pack”.
PDF body AI drafts 10 chapter headings and Gamma generates the document in five or six minutes. Free plan: 10 pages, 400 credits, Gamma branding; about $8 a month lifts the limits.
PDF income A cloaked affiliate link in every page footer, or a final “recommended products” page with four or five solar offers.
Hosting Export to PDF, upload to Google Drive, share as “anyone with the link”, then open it in an incognito window to see what a stranger sees.
Cover and creative Start with a flat cover you can reuse anywhere; AI then turns it into 3D and spiral-bound mock-ups, and the spiral-bound book becomes the ad image, reframed to 9:16.
Ad settings Engagement objective, manual set-up, daily budget, countries UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand; call to action “Send Instagram message”; message template → partner app → the ManyChat flow. Approval: 20 minutes to a couple of hours.

Notice how little of this costs money. She uses Copilot “because it’s built into Windows”, tries the free version of Nano Banana for covers, and dictates prompts with Wispr Flow. Her rule for AI is the one she used with outsourcers for years: treat it like an expert sitting next to you and hand it one clear task at a time. She adds that a document like this used to cost her a couple of hundred dollars to outsource.

“It’s more important to know the business process than actually knowing the nuts and bolts of exactly where a button is on Facebook, because the principles are always the same.” — Part 1, Create Your First Meta Ad Campaign

The Email Foundations She Won’t Skip

The Kit lessons hide several rules that matter more than the screens. Send from a custom domain, and keep it generic — her example is newmedia99.com — so a niche switch doesn’t leave you mailing about forex from a woodworking address. Your own name or a pen name also works; if it’s taken, add a middle initial, the way Michael J. Fox did. You can buy a pre-verified domain inside Kit for about $10, or use Namecheap and verify it yourself. A physical address is a legal requirement at the foot of every email, and a PO box is fine.

Start on Kit’s free tier, but upgrade once sales arrive: she says paid plans send from better servers and get better deliverability. And she prefers single opt-in, warning that double opt-in can cut your opt-in rate by more than half — 50% becomes about 25% in her example.

The welcome email itself is AI-written, then reformatted for phones: one sentence per paragraph, bold links, bullet points to pull the eye down. It carries the PDF link plus a Ted’s Woodworking ClickBank link, it’s set to send after zero days, and she points out you can remove Kit’s footer branding unless it carries your own affiliate link.

Editor’s comment: Meta’s screens will drift — Sarah Staar warns about it in nearly every ad lesson, and hers were recorded in France. What won’t drift is the order of operations: dataset in Business Manager, then the Kit form and automation, then the ManyChat flow and its conversion link to Meta, and only then the ad. Follow that order and a changed button won’t stop you.

Three Campaigns From Sarah Staar’s Own Business

The bonus parts hold the course’s best evidence: campaigns Sarah Staar describes from her own business. Treat the figures as her claims — the strategies are what transfer to your list.

Case 1: 350 Business Cards at a Software Conference

At an Infusionsoft conference in Phoenix with around 10,000 attendees, she noticed everyone complaining about the new campaign builder and the lack of decent training videos. Instead of joining the evening drinks, she went back to her hotel room, recorded six or seven how-to videos and uploaded them to YouTube as unlisted. A local print shop then made about 350 business cards with her offer on the back — “no picture, nothing”, just a long opt-in link.

She didn’t leaflet the seats; one attendee nearly got thrown out for doing exactly that. She started conversations about the builder, handed over a card and took theirs in return. Back home, she emailed or phoned every contact. Her result: about 190 sign-ups over two days, many of them business owners paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month for software. At her first $8,000 mastermind, about 60% of the roughly 15 people in the room had come through that card.

Case 2: Three Sales on the Webinar, Thirty by the Deadline

In the Silent Sales System audio on campaigns, she recalls a JV webinar where her partner sold only three units of a $1,000 product live and emailed her an apology. She told him to wait for the replay deadline. By the time the replay came down, they had 30 sales — $30,000.

“About 70%, 75% of our sales come in on the last day and we get a huge influx of sales at the last minute.” — The Silent Sales System, Running a Campaign

To stop a deadline week going stale — she calls it becoming “email blind” — she varies the mix: promotions, a mid-week newsletter with one section on the offer, a recorded chat with the JV partner, and content emails. One example: she embedded the Xerox scene from Pirates of Silicon Valley on her blog with a single line about the upcoming webinar, emailed her list about the film, and says about another hundred people signed up.

Case 3: The Bonus That Fixed a Weak Spot

Promoting an AdWords training called Affiliate Black Book, she spotted its weak area: keyword research. She spent two hours recording three keyword research videos, offered them as a bonus for that week only, and says she got the most sales of any affiliate on the launch. The lesson for affiliates is subtle: you can’t control the vendor’s deadline, but you can put a hard deadline on your own bonus.

The Maths Behind All Three

“200 customers spending $500 a year is 100 grand a year.” — The $100 Per Day Workshop, Part 2

That works out at about $10 a week per customer, and it explains her priorities. She sells a $2.10 product, the Quick Sales Formula, not for the two dollars but to put proven buyers on her list. Her affiliate bonuses are delivered only after an opt-in for the same reason. Other list-building sources, she says, are “nowhere near as good as buyers”.

Editor’s comment: None of these cases uses ManyChat, and that’s the useful part. Business cards, deadlines and bonuses are all list-building moves. The DM funnel is simply her newest way of feeding the same list — which is why the email audios matter as much as the build.

Stealth Affiliate Index Review: Where the 19.5 Hours Go

The file-by-file list lives on the product page. Here’s the shape of the package instead: 55 videos, 14 audios, 14 PDFs and one calculator document — 84 files, 11.38 GB — and where the runtime actually sits.

Runtime by part
Outsourcing Power — 26 lessons — 6h 43m
Outsourcing Power bonus — 4 Affiliate Training Day videos — 4h 08m
The $100 Per Day Workshop — 3 videos — 2h 54m
The Stealth Affiliate core build — 21 videos — 2h 54m
The Silent Sales System — 14 audios — 2h 51m
Affiliate Profit Calculator video — 5m

Read the chart honestly. The funnel the course is named after runs under three hours — roughly one-seventh of the total. More than half the runtime is Outsourcing Power and its bonus. That isn’t a flaw if you know it going in: the core build is short because it’s tight, and the email audios and workshop add the strategy.

Files to Open First

  • 01 The Stealth Affiliate System Overview (11m) — the thousand-foot view of how every piece connects.
  • 15 ManyChat Instagram Automation Workflow Overview (12m), then 17 Building Your First ManyChat Automation (14m) — watch both before you touch the builder.
  • 22 Create Your First Meta Ad Campaign (11m) — every setting that links the ad to the flow.
  • Silent Sales System 10 and 11 — Email Frequency and Running a Campaign, the lessons behind Case 2.
  • The $100 Per Day Workshop, Part 2 (1h 10m) — the business-card story and the buyer-list maths.

What’s Dated and What Still Holds

Outsourcing Power is clearly older than the core funnel. It comes from the oDesk and Elance era — the lessons explain those sites merged into Upwork — mentions the Warrior Forum being sold to Elance, and quotes $5 Fiverr gigs; the training-day bonus mentions 2016 on screen. Platform screens and prices will have moved. The principles still hold: brief freelancers with recorded Snagit videos, give a cheap job to three people and keep the best, and check written work with Copyscape.

Self-Test: Could You Run This Funnel Tomorrow?

Five questions, all answered in the lessons. Decide first, then click. Miss two or more and the core build will save you a lot of trial and error.

1. Why does the first DM ask the lead to reply “PDF”?

Because a message from the lead is what gives you permission to message them for the next 24 hours under Meta’s rules. Each new reply reopens the window.

2. A lead just got your solar guide. Do you send a solar affiliate link?

No. They feel the solar question is answered. Ask what else they’re into and offer three related options, so they choose the offer themselves.

3. Why does Kit wait five minutes before sending the PDF?

So the email doesn’t pull the lead out of the chat while they’re looking at the affiliate options.

4. What’s the minimum email frequency the course allows?

Once a week, every week — even with only ten people on the list. Going silent for weeks makes a list go stale.

5. Your affiliate promotion has no deadline of its own. What do you do?

Create a bonus that fixes the product’s weak spot and put a hard deadline on the bonus — the Affiliate Black Book approach.

About the Creator: Sarah Staar

Sarah Staar
Affiliate and email marketer

Sarah Staar dates her start in affiliate and email marketing to 2008, when squeeze pages still converted around 50%. She credits her friend Martin Avis for her newsletter method, describes herself as dyslexic and writes most of her content by talking, and says a single free report once put about 100,000 people on her list. She recorded this course in France; she previously lived in the UK. Signature belief: “If I was starting over again tomorrow, what would I be doing? I’d be doing whatever I could to build an email list.”

Stealth Affiliate Index Review FAQ

Is Stealth Affiliate suitable for complete beginners?

Yes for the core build. Every account — Instagram professional, Facebook page, Meta Business Manager, ManyChat and Kit — is set up on screen. You’ll still need a small ad budget and patience with changing Meta screens.

Does the ManyChat flow follow Meta’s messaging rules?

That is how Sarah Staar builds it. The lead’s quick reply opens a 24-hour messaging window that every later reply renews; after the email address arrives, longer follow-up happens in your autoresponder.

Do I need a website or a squeeze page?

No. The PDF sits on Google Drive, the Kit form is never seen by leads, and the conversation happens in Instagram DMs. You do need a custom domain to send email.

How old is the Outsourcing Power section?

Older than the core funnel. It still talks about oDesk and Elance, and the training-day bonus mentions 2016. The hiring principles are useful; check current prices and screens yourself.

How is the course delivered?

Digital files. Crypto payment only. Fast delivery is handled manually after payment confirmation. Download links remain available for 7 days; save your files locally.

Final Verdict — Stealth Affiliate Index Review 2026

Stealth Affiliate earns its place for two decisions: it moves the opt-in into a conversation, and it lets the buyer choose the offer. Sarah Staar builds that conversation on screen with exact timings, then backs it with an email course and campaign stories that show what a list is worth. Skim the dated outsourcing material, study the core build and the audios, and you have a funnel you can launch on a small budget.
