Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review 2026 on Courses On Budget
Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review: EMA system, trading the open and a small-account case study on Courses On Budget.

Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review

October 29, 2026 Posted by Courses on Budget Editorial Team Trading Posts
Spartan Trading Bundle — Index Review 2026Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review: 96 live webinars, 160+ hours and a resource pack of Spartan rulebooks, setup sheets and a journal. We sorted every session by topic and date, checked the rules against the transcripts and rebuilt Spartan’s small-account plan as a worked example. Here is what the bundle teaches, where to start and who it is for. Published by Courses On Budget.
Key takeaways
  • 96 webinar recordings (2018–2020), 161 h, 37.6 GB + 10 resource files.
  • Risk/reward comes first: every setup must offer at least 3:1.
  • A compact EMA system: 4, 8, 13 and 50 EMAs on daily, hourly and 10-minute charts.
  • Deep coverage of the open, low floats, shorts, earnings and options.
  • Concrete small-account rules — sizing table, daily caps, no lottos under ~$5–10k.

Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review: The Short Answer

The Spartan Trading Bundle is not a scripted course — it is a two-year archive of live Saturday webinars (“Spartan One-on-One”) and the later “Spartan 101” series, where one trader explains how he day trades and swing trades US stocks and options. That format is its strength and its weakness: almost every market situation is covered, but you need a plan to work through it.

The complete chronological index of all 96 sessions and the resource files is on the Spartan Trading Bundle product page. This review gives you that plan, plus the parts of the method you should understand before you press play. For comparison with another retail day trading program, read our Humbled Trader Academy review.

Instructor profile
Spartan
Host of Spartan Trading · US stocks and options day & swing trader
  • Describes himself as “eight years, full-time” with a finance background (as stated in 2019)
  • Built the Spartan technical system “over the course of… eight years”
  • Ran a live chat room and acted as the room’s “scanner”: “I want to build traders”
  • Trades low floats, small and big caps, FAANG, biotechs, IPOs, SPY/VIX and equity options
Self-reported background as stated in the webinars; no real name is given in the recordings. Account-growth claims are deliberately not repeated here.

Inside the Files: Where 161 Hours Go

Day trading dominates the bundle with 61 webinars and almost 100 hours. The Technical System section is small — 8 webinars — but it is the key that unlocks everything else.

journal + accountability points
“Unless you’re fairly seasoned at trading, you should not be trading the primary move. It’s fast. It’s furious, it’s unforgiving.”

The 4 EMA extension rule

Spartan’s signature rule: when a candle gaps visibly away from the 4 EMA and closes, a pullback toward it becomes likely — unless news or earnings caused the gap. The filter is deliberately strict: “If you have to ask yourself, is that a 4 EMA extension gap? It isn’t.” The 8 EMA is where to add, the 13 EMA is the “fluid trendline”, and the 50 EMA and daily 200 SMA mark the big levels.

Risk/reward before setups

“No one talks about risk-reward because it’s not sexy.” Many webinars open with a spreadsheet that simulates a year of trades as random 50/50 coin flips — and shows how a 3:1 minimum reward-to-risk keeps an account alive even when individual outcomes are random. Every setup is judged by the room price has to the next level versus the distance to the stop.

Case Study: A $1,000 Account Built on Spartan’s Rules

The “Building a Small Account” webinar and the Small Account Rules sheet give enough numbers to build a complete plan. Here is a $1,000 account set up exactly by those rules.

📊 Case study — $1,000 small-account plan (Building a Small Account, Jul 5, 2019)
Max risk per trade $40 — within the “no more than 5% of the account” rule for small accounts.
Reward target $125 per trade — keeping roughly the 3:1 minimum.
Stock price range $0–7.50 shares, so position size fits the risk.
Daily limits Five trades maximum, stop after three losses in a row, max daily loss no more than a third of the daily target.
Options No lottos on a small account; when trading options, start with quarter size and a 50% stop.
Mindset “Base hits. The home runs, never go looking for them, guys. They’ll randomly just happen.”
Figures as given in the webinar’s equity table and example rulebook. They show how the rules fit together, not an expected return. US accounts under $25k are also limited by the pattern day trader rule — see FINRA.
“
We can never control the outcome of a trade. We can only control the opportunity we place ourself within.
— Playing Earnings (Oct 20, 2018)
“
Never short a stock on fundamentals… You only short the stock when the actual technicals tell you to get into it.
— Short Selling (Dec 8, 2018)
“
If you don’t control the risk on the option side, you will blow up your account.
— Risk Reward in Application (Jun 22, 2019)

Quick Test: Think Like a Spartan

🧠 3-question knowledge check
Answer in your head first, then tap a question to check. All answers come from the course lessons.
Q1. A low-float stock is running and you have no stop. Fine for a quick scalp?
Answer: No. “No stops, you will eventually lose… I had no stops on low floats when I started trading.”
Q2. Which part of the open should a newer trader focus on?
Answer: The secondary move — the reversal that follows over about 30 minutes to two hours. The primary move is for seasoned traders only.
Q3. A setup offers $0.50 of risk and $0.75 of room to the next level. Take it?
Answer: No. Spartan’s minimum is 3:1 reward-to-risk; this setup is only 1.5:1.

Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review: FAQ

How was this Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review made?
We worked from the course files themselves: the full folder index, file sizes, lesson runtimes and transcripts of all 96 webinars and the resource files. No sales-page claims were used, and income claims made in the lessons are deliberately left out.
Is the Spartan Trading Bundle for beginners?
Yes, if you follow the order: Technical System, Raw Technicals, Chart Patterns, Trading the Open, then account management. Many later webinars assume you know the system.
Does it teach options?
Yes — strike selection by day of the week, delta-based targets, options stops, spreads and lotto Friday contracts, with repeated warnings for small accounts.
What are the resource files?
Spartan’s rules, small-account rules, open setups and setup journal sheets, a market regimes PDF, the Spartan Trading 101 and chart pattern review documents, and a journal spreadsheet.
What do I get after purchase?
Digital files. Crypto payment only. Fast delivery is handled manually after payment confirmation. Download links remain available for 7 days; save your files locally.
Final Verdict — Spartan Trading Bundle Index Review 2026

The Spartan Trading Bundle is a full trading education disguised as a webinar archive. Its value is in the consistency: the same four EMAs, the same 3:1 rule and the same plan for the open are applied to low floats, earnings, shorts, options and swings across two years of sessions. The examples are dated, the process is not.
