Ajay Shanbhag Goldbach Time — Index Review 2026Goldbach Time Index Review: we went through all 65 videos and 44+ hours of Ajay Shanbhag’s GB Time mentorship, from the 5-minute origin story to the September 2026 live sessions, and checked every rule against the transcripts. Here is how the clock-based method works, one real worked example with exact minutes, a quick self-test and our honest score. Published by Courses On Budget.
Key takeaways
  • 65 videos, 44 h 07 min, 13.85 GB — recorded 2025–2026.
  • Turns Goldbach numbers into minutes: the market moves along “algo paths” on the clock.
  • Execution happens at CE times: 7, 14, 23, 35, 44, 50, 56, 65, 77.
  • Two models: Path GBT (beginner) and FPFVG GBT (intermediate), built for NQ.
  • Requires ICT basics — sweeps, FVGs, order blocks.

Goldbach Time Index Review: What This Course Really Is

Goldbach Time is a timing layer for ICT-style traders. It does not replace fair value gaps, liquidity sweeps or order blocks — it tells you at which minute they are most likely to matter. The Goldbach numbers come from Hopiplaka’s framework; the conversion of those numbers into time is Ajay Shanbhag’s own interpretation, and he credits the source openly in the very first lesson.

The full module-by-module video list is on the Goldbach Time product page. This review covers what that list cannot show: how the pieces connect, what a trade looks like minute by minute and who will actually benefit. If you are new to the underlying concepts, start with our ICT courses category first.

Inside the Files: A Course That Is Mostly Live Trading

The runtime map tells the real story: the lessons that teach the rules take about 4.5 hours, while livestreams, Q&A sessions and live trading account for more than three quarters of the course. You learn the framework in an evening — and then watch it applied for weeks of real sessions.

The Clock Method in One Diagram

The founding rule is simple: “Time is always positive, there’s no negative time, and the clock is always moving forward.” From each Goldbach minute, the next reaction is expected at the next number on the path. Two paths do most of the work:

Execution is timed at CE (consequent encroachment) minutes — the midpoint between two Goldbach numbers: 7, 14, 23, 35, 44, 50, 56, 65, 77.

The three rules that keep it honest

First, “If there is no sweep, no trade.” Second, a path counts as met if any of the three candles that form a swing prints the target minute (the ±1 rule). Third, the stop is the time candle itself — if price breaks its high or low, you are out. Exits follow the clock too: “11, 17, I’m out.”

Case Study: A 47 → 11 → 23 Long, Minute by Minute

In the lesson “How To Trade Using GB Time”, Ajay walks through a past session using nothing but minutes. It is a hindsight review, not a live trade — but it shows exactly how the clock rule turns into an entry and an exit.

📊 Case study — “How To Trade Using GB Time” (Price Action Insights)
Reference sweep A swing high at :46–:47 takes liquidity. 47 is a Goldbach number, so the clock now points to 11.
Patience “So here 11 didn’t come. Don’t trade. No 11.”
Entry A swing low prints at 12:12–12:13 after sweeping liquidity — inside the ±1 window around 11. Long.
Stop The entry time candle; if that swing low breaks, “you’re wrong.”
Exit The next path from 11 is 17/23. Price takes liquidity at 12:22, inside the 23 window. Exit.
Result stated “Around 24 handles” — on his stated market, NQ.
Same lesson, same honesty: a 41 → 3 short at 13:42–13:43 loses — “So you lose this. Okay, fine.” Results are illustrations of the method, not promised outcomes.
“
It’s only the time factor which was missing, which is given to you in this mentorship.
— How To Trade Using GB Time
“
Dear son, remove everything and keep only minutes.
— How Would I Teach This To My Son
“
The market humbles everyone, but we follow the rules.

Quick Test: Do You Understand GB Time?

🧠 3-question knowledge check
Answer in your head first, then tap a question to check. All answers come from the course lessons.
Q1. Price sweeps liquidity at minute 11. Where does the clock point next?
Answer: To 17 (with 23 as the CE window) — the nearest number ahead on the clock, never back to 00.
Q2. No liquidity sweep has formed, but the minute is perfect. Do you trade?
Answer: No. “If there is no sweep, no trade.”
Q3. In the FPFVG GBT model, what does Goldbach Time actually add?
Answer: “The only advantage Goldbach Time gives you… is at what time to enter.” The FVG itself is pure ICT; GB Time adds the entry minute (00, 03/07, 29/35, 71/77).

Who Should Buy It — and Who Should Skip It

Buy it if you…
  • already trade ICT or SMC concepts and struggle with entry timing
  • day trade NQ or other index futures on the 1-minute chart
  • want one rules-based trade per day for a prop-firm style account
  • like learning from fresh 2025–2026 live sessions
Skip it if you…
  • are brand new to trading — “if you have zero knowledge about trading, then I’m not the mentor”
  • want swing trades or a set-and-forget style
  • expect a fixed, fully mechanical algorithm — the author admits “nobody knows” exactly how the algo works

  • Original, testable timing framework on top of ICT
  • Two complete trading models with stop and exit rules
  • Very recent recordings, including live NY AM sessions
  • Honest teaching that credits its sources and shows losses

Goldbach Time Index Review: FAQ

How was this Goldbach Time Index Review made?
We worked from the course files themselves: the full folder index, file sizes, lesson runtimes and transcripts of all 65 videos. No sales-page claims were used, and income claims made in the lessons are deliberately left out.
What is Goldbach Time in simple words?
A method that maps Goldbach numbers (3, 11, 17, 29, 41, 47, 53, 59, 71, 83, 89, 97) onto the minutes of each hour and expects price to move along predictable “algo paths” between them, with execution at CE minutes.
Do I need Hopiplaka’s Goldbach material first?
It helps. The course assumes familiarity with Goldbach and ICT vocabulary and recommends the original Goldbach book.
Is there a beginner model?
Yes — the Path GBT (2-path) model: execute only when a swing meets the next path at a CE time, with the stop at the time candle.
What do I get after purchase?
Digital files. Crypto payment only. Fast delivery is handled manually after payment confirmation. Download links remain available for 7 days; save your files locally.
Final Verdict — Goldbach Time Index Review 2026

Goldbach Time is one of the most specific courses we have reviewed: it answers one question — at what minute should I execute? — and builds two complete models around the answer. For an ICT trader who already reads sweeps and FVGs, the clock rule, CE times and “stop at the time candle” can bring real structure to entries and exits. For a beginner, it is the wrong first course.

Pair it with a foundation from the ICT Prodigy index review or the SMC Engine index review, compare other cheap trading courses, and get the full mentorship on the Goldbach Time product page.
