Who Is Adrian Gana and What Makes This Course Different?
In a recorded webinar inside the course, Adrian Gana says he has been doing SEO since around 2012–2013. He worked as a freelancer on oDesk (now Upwork), then left to build his own SEO agency, and he mentions co-owning one of the largest Upwork Philippines groups, with about 300,000 members. In the closing lesson he puts his marketplace track record at more than 4,000 orders on Legiit alone over three to four years, not counting outside clients.
What makes the course different is spelled out in the finale. Students told him they had watched plenty of YouTube tutorials and short courses that taught them how to do the services, but never how to find a client. So this masterclass is built as a business: audit, deliver, then sell. Roughly half the runtime is ranking work and the other half is lead generation, outreach and marketplace selling.
A note on language: most lessons are narrated in Taglish — Filipino (Tagalog) mixed with a lot of English — as the onboarding file name, “(Tagalog)(English)”, suggests. The newer tool walkthroughs (the AI audit, Vuzz.io, Perplexity Q&A, the ChatGPT article prompt, image geotagging) are mostly in English, and the screens, tools and prompts are in English throughout. If you don’t understand Tagalog you can still follow the screens, but you will miss part of the commentary.
The Free Local SEO Audit Funnel
Module 2 is called “Pro-bono Enticer,” and the logic is simple: other SEO companies charge around $50 to $300 per audit, and you give yours away for free. Adrian’s version needs no paid tools. You make a copy of his audit document, swap in the prospect’s website and Google Business Profile links with one Ctrl+H replace, grab the Google Maps CID link with a free Chrome extension, add screenshots, and pull the categories competitors use with the Pleper extension. Once you’re used to it, it takes a few minutes, and every section gives the prospect useful information before you’ve sold anything.
The 2026 lesson upgrades this with an AI audit tool from GMAPS Ranker. You enter the website, the Maps URL and up to 10 target keywords, and you get a GBP optimization strategy, a simulated local rank heatmap, on-page and off-page factors, engagement signals, an action plan (quick wins within 30 days, or three to six months in tough markets), a keyword strategy and a PDF you can brand with your own company name and logo.
“Today I will show you on how to run an in-depth local SEO audit that will impress your clients, builds trust, and turns them into paying clients.” — Module 2, Local SEO Audit Using AI
Six Keyword Formats to Suggest to Clients
When clients don’t know what to target, you suggest it. The course gives six formats: keyword + location, keyword + “company” + location, keyword + location + near me, keyword + location + near us, keyword + location + open today and keyword + location + open now. There is also a quick Perplexity prompt for finding related GBP categories when the Pleper extension doesn’t work.
“This combination of keywords have higher search intent based on my experience and asking from my recent clients. With higher search intent, there’s a higher chance of getting leads, phone calls once ranked on these keywords.” — Module 2, Keyword Formats in Local SEO
The GMAPS Ranker Service Menu
Modules 3 and 4 work like a price list. Each lesson is a service you can sell, often with the price range Adrian mentions and a frank note on how well it still works:
| Service | How it works in the course | Price point mentioned |
|---|---|---|
| Geotagged map | Google My Maps build with a geotagged YouTube video; plus an auto-pin method using KML-to-CSV conversion. He admits it’s weaker than 2–3 years ago but still has some impact. | Sold by others for $5–$20 |
| Blogger geotagging | An article on a geotagged Blogger page that links to the client’s Maps CID URL, plus Blogger comments | Around $20–$50 |
| iFrame map embed stacking | Lots of Web 2.0 pages with map embeds, linked only from tier 2 and tier 3 — never to the main site, to avoid link-wheel penalties | $50, $99 or $150 |
| Google Cloud entity stacking | Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, YouTube and My Maps stacked on Google Sites. Version 2 moves to the AI builder durable.co after Google shut down GBP websites in 2024, and adds Search Console indexing (within 24 hours in his test). | — |
| High-DA profile backlinks + indexing | Do-follow profile links (including a .edu example), then paid indexing with IndexMeNow for your most valuable links first | IndexMeNow: 60 credits for $49 |
| GBP maintenance | A few optimized posts every week plus ongoing upkeep | $100–$200 per month |
Google Business Profile Enhancement Without Getting Suspended
Module 5 starts with a warning: if the profile itself isn’t optimized, all your off-page work is wasted. Ask for Manager access (not Owner), read the Insights to spot traffic drops, post 3–5 times a week, add competitor subcategories found with Pleper, and list populated nearby cities as service areas. Never change the business name, address, phone number or website yourself — even removing one word triggers re-verification and a possible temporary suspension, and if you caused it, you will most likely lose the client. Upload photos of the inside and outside of the building, the logo and the staff, because people buy from people.
On reviews, Adrian is honest. He once bought cheap Google reviews to save time, and his rankings dropped instead of rising, while the purchased reviews vanished week by week, because review IPs far from the business look fake. He teaches collecting genuine reviews from people near the business and optimizing how you respond to them. The rest of the module covers 20 GBP questions and answers generated with Perplexity, a hyper-relevant posting system built from a spreadsheet template, and free scheduled posting with Planable (up to 50 posts on the free account). For another take on profile work, compare Bradley Benner’s Local GMB Pro.
On-Page Technical Local SEO and Nearby Areas
Module 6 is the longest at over four hours. The Google Dynamic Schema is a LocalBusiness schema edited by hand to use the Google Maps CID URL — the one link that never changes — and installed across the whole site, with a ready-made script and install instructions for clients who won’t share admin access. A newer lesson generates it with ChatGPT and the AIPRM extension.
The Gmaps Nearby Areas Dominator builds pages for nearby cities so a profile can rank beyond its home area. It only works within about 10–30 miles, not 50; you edit the files in Notepad++, and a troubleshooting video explains the fix for broken links: folder names in lowercase, with dashes instead of spaces. You also get a delivery report template to send clients.
You also get a full on-page walkthrough of an Elementor site with Rank Math (backup first, alt text on every image), and a single ChatGPT prompt for unique articles. The sample article in that lesson was indexed 17 hours after publishing, with one H1, a few H2s and jump links.
Local SEO + AI + Automation
The newest lessons show Vuzz.io replacing manual work: one click pulls a business’s CID URL and full schema data from its website and Maps URL, and the dashboard also covers city pages, service pages, alternate pages and an LLMs.txt generator. A two-part tutorial deploys AI-generated niche pages to GitHub and Cloudflare using the 300 trial credits. Module 12 geotags images in bulk for free with ChatGPT (convert to JPEG first, in batches of 10), and Module 13 is a large collection of AI tools to explore.
Getting Local SEO Clients: Five Lead Channels
This is the part Adrian clearly cares about most. Modules 8–10 add up to more than eight hours of selling.
- Facebook magnet strategy — he says 50–60% of his own clients come from it. Use an aged, genuine profile with a banner that states your offer (“Get more leads on Google Maps”), join serious local SEO groups, and follow the five-step GmapsRanker Marketing Playbook, with the free audit as the hook. A short add-on covers cheap, tightly targeted Facebook Ads.
- Google Maps prospecting — search a niche plus a city (the demo uses “roofer in Los Angeles”) on desktop or phone and contact businesses with a sample message.
- The “G.S.” trick — find businesses paying for Google Screened ads by searching through a VPN set to a US city; he notes it works mainly in the US.
- Email in three stages — gathering (an email-hunter app pulling addresses from Google Maps), warming (so you don’t land in spam) and blasting through your own SMTP, plus contact-form outreach with GSA Website Contact Form Submitter.
- Yellow Pages — a webinar segment on what he calls an undervalued source of clients.
If cold outreach to local businesses is your weak spot, Ryan Stewart’s local SEO client strategy pairs well with these channels.
Selling on Legiit: Adrian Gana’s Marketplace System
Module 8 has ten videos on Legiit, which he calls underrated and less competitive than bigger freelance sites. It covers account setup with Payoneer, basic keyword research for your service page, coupon tactics for buyers who ask for a deal, the daily social-feed post (one every 24 hours), getting into the Weekly Round-up email, and withdrawals after Legiit’s 15% fee. One proof video shows 12 orders in a single day. The 70-minute sales-boost webinar adds engaging content, animated banners, hyperlinks and cart bundles; after he added cart bundles, his September sales rose and October was on track to beat them.
CTR Metric Boosters: Read the Fine Print
Module 7 is the grey-hat corner, and Adrian doesn’t hide it: he calls the result fake traffic and clicks. You buy residential proxies (Storm Proxies, which in his walkthrough needs a US card or PayPal) or use GSA software to send location-matched clicks to a profile, and he prices it at $249 for 1,000 visits, drip-fed over days or weeks. Treat this as a risk you choose, not a must-do. For a deeper dive into engagement signals, see Brock Misner’s user-engagement course.
Adrian Gana Local SEO Masterclass Index: What’s Inside
The runtime is measured across 50 of the 51 videos; one long on-page video has no duration data, so the real total is higher. Alongside the videos you get 28 HTML lesson pages and resources, 13 lesson-map images, 50 subtitle files and a Must Read note.

Who Should Take This Masterclass?
Best for:
- Freelancers and VAs who want to sell Google Maps ranking as a productized service
- Small agencies that need a free-audit hook and a ready service menu with price points
- Filipino and Tagalog-speaking marketers, who get the full commentary in their own language
- Sellers who want to build income on Legiit instead of crowded freelance platforms
Not for: viewers who need English-only narration, anyone who refuses grey-hat tactics such as CTR manipulation (skip Module 7), or national and e-commerce SEO — Adrian himself says organic SEO is the better fit for those.
- Covers both ranking and client acquisition
- Real price points for each service, plus client message and delivery templates
- Honest notes on what has stopped working (geotagged maps, bought reviews)
- Updated AI lessons: audit tool, Vuzz.io, ChatGPT, Perplexity
- Over 21 hours of screen-recorded walkthroughs
- Mostly Taglish narration; non-Tagalog speakers rely on the screens
- Module 7 relies on fake clicks and residential proxies
- Long, unedited webinar recordings in places
- Several tools are paid (proxies, IndexMeNow, GSA, Vuzz.io after the trial)
FAQ: Adrian Gana Local SEO Masterclass
What is the GMAPS Ranker Local SEO Masterclass?
It’s Adrian Gana’s 14-module course on ranking local businesses on Google Maps and the Local 3-Pack — audits, GBP optimization, schema, nearby-area pages, citations, link stacking and AI tools — combined with systems for finding and closing clients.
Is the course in English or Tagalog?
Both. Most videos are in Taglish (Tagalog mixed with English), while the newer AI and tool tutorials are mainly in English. All software, prompts and on-screen steps are in English.
Does it teach how to find Local SEO clients?
Yes, in detail: the Facebook magnet playbook, Google Maps prospecting on desktop and mobile, Google Screened leads, Facebook Ads, cold email and contact-form outreach, Yellow Pages and a ten-video Legiit series.
How long is the course and how fast will rankings move?
The 51 videos run for more than 21 hours. Adrian is upfront that rankings take time: sometimes weeks, sometimes months, sometimes a year, depending on the client’s competition.
How is the course delivered?
Digital files. Crypto payment only. Fast delivery is handled manually after payment confirmation. Download links remain available for 7 days; save your files locally.
Most Google Maps courses stop when the profile is optimized. This one keeps going: a free audit that opens the conversation, a priced service menu, the technical builds behind each service, and five ways to bring in clients, plus a full marketplace system. It’s long and partly unpolished, the narration is mostly Taglish, and Module 7 is a risk you have to decide on yourself. But as a blueprint for a working local SEO service business, it is unusually complete.
